"Ballblazer" is a futuristic sports game, in the style of space football, simple and fast. For its time, the game is revolutionary, and here's why. The screen is divided into 2 parts, each of which shows the playing field as it is seen by the player and his opponent. The graphics are quite smooth, and do not cause any complaints. Two boats are trying to score the ball into the opponent's moving goal. The sound and music is also beyond praise.
The playing field in the game "Ballblazer" consists of 1155 squares.
Atari 7800: The game is identical to the Atari 5200 version. The inscription "Ballblazer" has become more expressive and a demo mode has been added. The sound capabilities of the Atari 7800 are far from ideal, so a Pokey chip was installed in the cartridge, the same one that can be found in the Atari 5200, Atari 8bit and early Atari arcade games.
"Ballblazer" was completed in 1984, but released three years later.
