Barnyard Blaster is not the best light gun game on the Atari 7800. In Barnyard Blaster everything about the work done by the programmers is pretty well done, the game itself is wonderful in every way. But its simplicity, and only 4 screens (a barnyard, a field, a barn and sometimes a bonus level), does not really inspire you to continue playing it for a long time, discourage interest in shooting quickly enough.
The plot of the game "Barnyard Blaster" is that you exchange your last savings with your grandfather to acquire a small farm of several acres for growing vegetables and horses. Unexpectedly, resting on the porch is interrupted by the invasion of the field by small parasites. Someone's squealing, squeaking and fuss is heard from the barn. Nightmare! Your entire little farm is under attack by parasites. Now it's either you or them. Taking a pistol in your hands, you are directed by the pit to the barnyard to shoot parasites.
