M.A.D. (which costs missile attack and defense) is an arcade game somewhat similar to missile team. You control the photon cannon on the bottom of the screen and your goal is to protect the six power stations located on the left and right. Waves of rockets and ships will fly across the screen, and occasionally one of them will fall in an attempt to destroy one of the stations (as a warning on most levels, the enemy will turn white just before it falls). You must make sure you shoot it before your energy station is destroyed! When all six power stations are gone, the game ends. There are two player variations; one player will control the photon cannon, while the second player controls the cursor and can choose when and where the enemy will fall. Players alternate between offense and defense in this version.
