Roc n' Rope

Rock and Rope is a 1983 arcade game developed and published by Konami (published by Kosuka/Interlogic was in some markets). The player, imitating a flashlight - and a harpoon gun, equipped the archaeologist had to climb a series of rocky platforms in the Lost World scenario to reach the Phoenix bird, the subject of his quest, along the way he must avoid ferocious human-sized dinosaurs and warlike red-haired cavemen against whom he had no direct means of offense. The only way to defeat opponents was either temporary (stunning them with a flashlight) or indirect (waiting for them to be suspended by a harpoon rope to make them fall down), an element that added a certain amount of snag to the game, unusual for its time. Bonus to collect fallen phoenix feathers and phoenix eggs along the way,
