If you're a big fan of the Atari 2600 during its heyday, chances are you've probably heard of the Canadian discount store known as Zeller. This company was similar to stores like Ames, Wal-Mart, and places of that kind. However, one thing that Zeller was known for doing was publishing the Atari 2600 game under his own label, perhaps in order to cash in on the craze that was sweeping the world at the time. One notable thing about their games was that they came in a generic box with a small picture on the lid, and one piece of paper with details on how to play. Many times their "games" will be rip-offs of other existing games, sometimes with new names for them. However, recently I discovered the (possibly) original stone made them called Warp Time. And no, this has nothing to do with the Rocky Horror Show,
Instead, this game has you placed in a spaceship of some kind (the cover makes it look like a futuristic passenger liner with weapons, but I don't know, honestly!) flying through what looks like a cave, taking on a few enemies that attack you from the right side of the screen. After surviving a few rounds, you'll go into a "dungeon" cave where you fly through a treacherous corridor and attempt to dock with a gas station (I think.) After that, it's back to blast targets again. Lather, rinse, repeat.
