Game Pengo (Atari 5200 - a5200)
Pengo

Pengo was produced by SEGA back in 1982. Two years ago, racing games captured the emotions of millions of gamers, and hundreds of children crowded into the arcades, the lucky ones played, and the rest waited their turn with bated breath. In 1981, Sega/Gremlin added fuel to the fire with their Turbo. Just last spring, space shooters like Defender and Asteroids faded into the background, giving way to Pac-Man and Donkey Kong, so "violence and speed" was replaced by "peaceful toys". But Sega/Gremlin once again surprised the world with their space shooter Zaxxon, soaring to the top of the gaming charts!

Now even cute toys have problems. Pac-Man fell out of favor, as did other games like Kangaroo. But here Sega / Gremlin did not lose their heads, releasing a game that returned interest in cute and cute toys. So - Pengo.

The red penguin you control hobbles across the screen. The strength is also enough to push ice cubes, crushing all sorts of freaks and clearing their way. Just? And you try. I note that the game was released on almost all platforms of the 80s and early 90s!!!

Other variations of the game: Pengo, Pengo Popcorn, Penta, Pingo.

The game is qualitatively ported to Atari 5200. Among the shortcomings - the low intelligence of the monsters, and a darkish color palette.
