Game Dig Dug (Atari 7800 - a7800)
Dig Dug

A Namco game that needs no introduction. You control a digger who fights with incomprehensible monsters, inflating and bursting them with a pump.

Quite an entertaining and well-known game, a port from arcade machines. Dug Dug, a guy who looks like an astronaut with a hand pump, digs tunnels underground. He needs to deal with the underground inhabitants that threaten his flowers - the deadly Pooka and the fire-breathing Fygar. He can inflate and blow up these creatures, or he can throw stones at them, which is doubly dangerous, but gives more points. So let's play! Ported from the 1982 Namco arcade game of the same name.

Atari 7800: This is one of the best versions of the everlasting arcade hit. The gameplay in Dig Dug is perfectly balanced, made faster, and the monsters behave quite aggressively from the very beginning. The playing field is a bit truncated on the left and right, as in the arcade version, so there will be less space to turn around. Music on the level. Of course, the Atari 7800 version is not up to arcade quality, but you can and should play it!

It is curious that Dig Dug was made back in 1984, and she saw the light a few years later.
