Game Galaga (Atari 7800 - a7800)
Galaga

The famous game "Galaga", which seems to have passed through all the old (and not only) gaming platforms. Using weapons on your ship, you must shoot alien ships.

We are under attack!!! The Galagans are reclaiming planets they lost in a century-long interstellar war - and now they want ours! But you are ready to fight to the very end to protect her! Without hesitation, you join the Intergalactic Battle Fleet. The best way to learn the art of war is on the battlefield. Wearing heavy space boots, you ascend to the Intergalactic Command Ship, with one goal - to protect your home world.

From the very beginning, "Galaga" was recognized as an undeniable hit, although it has faded over time. And it appeared in the world back in 1981 on slot machines, later migrated to many platforms of the late 80s and early 90s.

They're coming! Of course they want to take over the Earth. And you (naturally!) were left all alone against a whole horde of aliens. Now, get out. Wow, they flew in a flock. The task is to destroy all enemy ships. The enemy has one strategy - they fly out in a chain, make a circle around the screen and line up. With each level of "Galaga" there are more and more of them and they are getting closer. As soon as the rows are built, they gradually begin to go down. If at least one of their ships reaches your "red" zone, you lose.

Well, a very old classic game!

"Galaga" is different from its predecessor Galaxian, like a daughter from a mother. Realistic sound of an explosion when a ship dies, nice music, statistics at the end of the game and a bonus stage "Challenging Stage" after passing four levels, in which enemies fly around the screen without shooting. The main difference is that in Galaga the battle begins with a "prehistory". Aliens fly in on complex trajectories, after which they line up in battle formation. This is where Galaxian begins. The aliens are moving towards you in formation, periodically one of them breaks down and dives, actively consuming ammunition.

Atari 7800: The game "Galaga" was written in 1984.
The game cannot be compared to the Nintendo version (1988), which is done in arcade quality. The ship is smaller so it's easier to dodge the bombs, the aliens are a little blurry, and the "bosses" are the same size as everyone else. Well, at least all ringtones and sound effects are included. The gameplay is still fast-paced, but only in Expert mode.
