Game Sentinel (Atari 7800 - a7800)
Sentinel

This is not a 3D world full of mysteries, which can be found on gaming computers in the second half of the 80s! "Sentinel" for Atari consoles is completely different, and the games are not connected in any way.

You are a scientist and your latest invention is a pulsating, burning ball called the Sentinel. It can absorb and store energy from various sources. Now, when the threat of alien invasion looms over the Earth, only this invention will help us survive.

You need to protect the "Sentinel" from enemy attacks, circling over the alien planets and absorbing all their energy. In total, the aliens have 4 planets, and the further the fireball moves, the stronger the approaches to the power station are fortified. After its destruction, you can move to the orbit of the next planet. At the end of the sweep of foreign worlds, you have to fight the final boss to complete the task!

Atari 7800 : "Sentinel" was first released in France for PAL systems, and the cartridge didn't run on NTSC consoles at all. Already in our time, ResQsoft translated the game into the NTSC format, or rather made its own NTSC game, apparently, it was written from scratch. "Sentinel" is sharpened only for Atari XG-1 or compatible light gun.

Many agree that it would be better if the game remained the same, in the form of an unreleased prototype. "Sentinel" is a dark light gun game that can be found in the Atari 2600 library as well . The Atari 2600 version isn't that impressive, and aside from the improved graphics, the Atari 7800 version looks even worse overall. Monotonous gameplay and musical accompaniment do not leave a chance for "Sentinel" .
