Game Breakout (Aquarius - aquarius)
Breakout

When the first games were released, the most popular game was Teletennis, which now, in 1984, seems like something out of Stonehenge.

Breakout is a new machine-coded game that turned tennis into a futuristic nineties plasma gun.

The Earth's ionosphere has been replaced by layers of polluted atomic dust hosted by the planet Ugh, which is even now bombarding the earth with huge fireballs, "God, gracious me."

You, Professor Reflector, have developed a "Reflector Reverser" which, when placed in line with fireballs, reverses them and reflects them back into layers of atomic dust. Direct hits from the Reverser pierce massive holes in the layers, allowing sunlight to enter and saving the earth. 10 times you use a reflector and you clear the sky, because once you've broken through the lower layers, the reflector bounces and flips inside the layers, knocking them out. . . and then. . . the planet strikes back with a whole new set of layers of atomic dust and. . . this slimy, polluted layer of horrors has a mind of its own and is moving down to the earth's crust and in particular to you, Professor Reflector, to wipe the Reflector Reverser from the face of the earth.
