Game Street Fighter Zero (Capcom Play System 1 - cps1)
Street Fighter Zero

Street Fighter Zero is a multi-platform fighting video game in the Street Fighter series originally developed and published by Capcom for arcades (CPS-2 system) in 1995, and from there later ported to various home platforms. SFA: Warriors' Dreams was the first original game in the series since the 1991 release of the original Street Fighter II and several updates to it.

In Street Fighter Zero, it introduced several new features to the series that are characteristic of subsequent parts of the Alpha line, in particular, a more elaborate energy bar compared to Super Street Fighter II Turbo, the ability to air block and counter from the block, as well as a characteristic graphic style that is very close in spirit of the games in the Darkstalkers series. The plot of SFA and the line of games based on it is an interquel, being both a sequel to the first Street Fighter and a prequel to Street Fighter II, and accordingly, in addition to some of the fighters who returned from the second part, some characters from the first part, as well as two guest characters from Final Fight, got here and a few brand new ones.

As before, Street Fighter Alpha is a two-dimensional fighting game with a six-button control scheme, in which the blows of the limbs (three for kicks and punches) are distributed among themselves in strength and speed. The player controls one of the fighters (who, as a rule, has a certain set of basic and special attacks) against the computer or another player.

In home versions of the game, after selecting a fighter, the player is prompted to select two fighting styles, called "Normal" and "Auto". "Auto" differs from "Normal" in that it automatically protects against a limited number of opponent's attacks (if the player is caught during the attack). "Auto" mode also offers the ability to use a super move by pressing the same punch and kick buttons at the same time, but at the expense of a one-level energy bar.[2]

Street Fighter Alpha includes 13 characters, of which 10 are available to choose from the very beginning, while the remaining 3 are secret, available to play through random selection (the so-called "roulette") or after entering a special code specific to each secret fighter .

Returning characters, in addition to Ryu (voiced by Katashi Ishizuka), Ken (voiced by Tetsuya Iwanaga), Chun Li (voiced by Yuuko Miyamura) and Sagata (voiced by Shinichiro Miki), also included Birdie and Adon (voiced by Wataru Takagi) from the original Street Fighter 1987 years, in Alpha for the first time became playable characters.

In addition to the above, two characters from the Final Fight series were included in the cast of characters: Guy (voiced by Tetsuya Iwanaga) - one of the three main characters (along with Mike Haggar and Cody) and Sodom (voiced by Wataru Takagi) - one of the bosses in the first game of this same series.

Three characters are completely new: Charlie Nash, Guile's comrade and mentor, who uses the same techniques as the latter, and Rose, a fortune teller from Genoa, mysteriously connected with Bison and using energy called Soul Forces in battle.

The number of secret characters included three bosses, among which M. Bison and Akuma (voiced by Tomomichi Nishimura) returned from the Street Fighter II sub-series; Bison serves as the arcade mode boss for half of the characters; Akuma, as in Super Turbo, acts as an alternative boss that appears when certain conditions are met. In addition to them, Dan Hibiki (voiced by Osamu Hosoi) appears for the first time in the game, a self-taught fighter from Hong Kong seeking revenge on Sagat for the death of his father; concurrently, he serves as Capcom's mockery of its then-rival SNK. The player can fight Dan during the arcade mode by fulfilling certain conditions.
