Game Around the World in 80 Days (Game Boy Advance - gba)
Around the World in 80 Days

In this game, you have to play the role of Passepartout, played by Jackie Chan in the film of the same name. To help your master Phileas Fogg win the bet, you will have to beat many enemies around the world. You are also waiting for trips on elephants, trains, planes and ships. Onward to adventure!

Circle the globe in just 80 days? Funny! Even Her Majesty Victoria's best steam ships can't do it. But the precise and punctual Phileas Fogg said he could. And when Fogg is asked by members of London's prestigious Reform Club to back up his boast with a hefty cash bet, we'll take a trip around the world in 80 days.

The plot of the game is based on the famous movie with Jackie Chan based on the novel by Jules Verne. The main character Passepartout is very similar to Jackie Chan, who plays the main role in the film. Together with an extravagant and wealthy gentleman named Phileas Fogg, Passepartout goes around the world, the action takes place in the 19th century. A journey is ahead not only on land, but also on water and even in the sky. On the way: Paris, India, China and San Francisco, and everything, as it should be during a round-the-world trip.

The action of the game is based on the plot of the film made according to the book of the same name by Jules Verne. The eccentric London inventor Phileas Fogg has revealed the secrets of flight, electricity and many others, but society does not accept him, considering him crazy. Fogg really wants to be taken seriously, and he makes an unusual bet with Lord Kelvin, head of the Royal Academy of Sciences: he undertakes to travel around the globe in no more than 80 days! Together with his lackey Passepartout and the thrill-hungry French artist Monique Fogg, he embarks on a wild, thrilling race around the world by land, sea and air. Numerous adventures and obstacles await them along the way... Support Phileas on his journey around the world in 80 days.

Movie based. You control the hero of Jackie Chan, a cunning Chinese named Passepartout. The plot of the game in some places reflects the course of the film, but there is nothing masterpiece here. Passepartout runs back and forth, fights with enemies and collects gold rings and hieroglyphs along the way. 100 collected rings give him an additional vial, which is automatically used when life energy runs out; 4 hieroglyphs found increase the maximum of this very vital energy. Graphically, the game is quite good and moderately interesting.

Around the World in 80 Days - The game received generally unfavorable reviews, averaging 40 out of 100 from Metacritic, based on nine reviews.
