R-Type DX is a side view flying shooter. Re-release of previous parts for GameBoy Color. The game has 5 modes: R-Type DX, R-Type (original), R-Type II (original), R-Type (color edition) and R-Type II (color edition). The original modes are directly the old black and white (yellow instead of white in games) variants, no different from the originals. The color modes provide a slightly improved color version of the originals. The ability to enable auto-shooting has been added, the design of levels and ships has been improved, and the balance has also been corrected.
