A collection of "greatest hits" levels inspired by Sonic 2, Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles. The player first chooses one of three games, each featuring multiple bosses and five levels based on the same zone from the original games (Emerald Hill for Sonic 2, Angel Island for Sonic 3, and Mushroom Hill for Sonic and Knuckles). The player can then choose from Sonic, Tails, or Knuckles, each with their own unique abilities, with the exception of Knuckles, who can neither slide nor climb. Also included is a Sonic 3 bonus stage.
