Game Lemmings (Game Gear - gg)
Lemmings

Lemmings is a great, intriguing game where you have to help hordes of goofy but adorable green-haired creatures known as Lemmings escape hostile environments in over a hundred unique adventures. The unfortunate rodents are overpopulated, therefore, the overgrown population is looking for a new home, migrating from place to place. The addictive puzzle game was designed by DMA Design and published by Psygnosis in 1991 for the Amiga. With lightning speed, it was ported to dozens of gaming platforms in legal and unofficial ways, and several sequels were also created.

Lemmings fall to each level through the opened hatch doors. Beings not weighed down by intellect, they need all the help available to survive the dangers that lie around and get to the exit. They are as cute as they are goofy. Without too much thought, the animals will walk from the cliff, into the water, dangers and traps. And if nothing threatens them, then they will simply walk in a crowd back and forth, changing direction every time they bump into obstacles. We have to help them, endowing some furry animals with unique skills that help the entire population survive. Some will dig passages, others will forbid movement to dangers, others will build steps, others will fly on umbrellas, climb walls, and so on. - only 8 skills. Naturally, the number and types of skills, time and number of lemmings at each level is different. So it is very important to save, if not all, but the majority, necessary to move to a new stage.

The game Lemmings is mega popular, therefore, and its variations cannot be counted. The original game has 120 levels arranged in 4 groups of 30: Fun, Tricky, Taxing and Mayhem. There are 20 levels available for two players. For computers, the second player steered with an additional mouse or joystick, and for Mega Drive and SNES it was not even necessary to invent anything. It's strange that the 3DO version is only for one.

Interesting Facts:
The myth of mass lemming suicides was created by the makers of the 1958 Disney documentary White Wasteland. It told about the mass migrations of lemmings, and to heighten the effect, a group of animals were pushed off a cliff into the water. The actions of filmmakers should be condemned, but it is thanks to them that the lemmings immortalized themselves in a brilliant game of all times and peoples.

There are several great sites on the Internet that describe all the games, their variations, and also provide a very detailed comparison of versions. Don't be too lazy to find them (hints: Lemmings Universe, Lemmings Encyclopedia, everylemming).

Game Gear: "Small window version with Master System". It looks like Krusty Fun House, only here you no longer see yourself, but control small creatures, lemmings.
Легенда:
Lemmings are small rodents. It's funny that every few years they commit mass suicide by throwing themselves off the cliffs. At this very moment, you must save them using all possible means, including the same lemmings.
Small graphics are compensated by a rather funny action and many find the game quite interesting!

In 1991, Lemmings debuted on the Amiga platform. The rapid success of the game allowed her to move to: 3DO; Acorn Archimedes, Amstrad CPC; Apple IIGS and Macintosh; Arcade (prototype); Atari Lynx and ST; Commodore 64, Amiga CD32 and CDTV; MS-DOS, Hewlett-Packard HP-48; Cell phones; NES, SNES, Game Boy and Game Boy Color; OS/2 (demo); palm; Philips CD-i; SAM Coupe'; Sega Game Gear, Master System and Genesis; Sinclair Spectrum; some Texas Instruments calculators; UIQ; Pocket PC and Windows.
