This is the story of 14 year old criminal Yusuke who died but was brought back to life to work as a sort of psychic detective and troubleshooter. As his "Ki" energy grows, he and his friends (including 2 demons) face bigger and bigger villains. Finally, they enter into a gigantic demonic competition (lasting 7 books), although in reality it only lasts 10 days. They win, however, the next problem appears.
