Famous fighting game. A bit of plot: after the last tournament "King of fighters" it turns out that Geese Howard is not killed. They quickly create a new tournament - Fatal Trio. In general, good luck to you, kids! 9 heroes (in the original there were 16). For me, not very (probably because the genre does not attract). Here the sound seems to be quite good! Considered one of the best fighting games on Game Gear.
As the name suggests, Fatal Fury Special is an improved version of the fighting game Fatal Fury 2, and has been ported from the arcade original. List of players:
Eight standard players from Fatal Fury 2: Terry Bogard, Andy Bogard, Joe Higashi, Kim Kaphwan, Jubei Yamada, Cheng Sinzan, Mai Shiranui and Big Bear.
Four bosses from Fatal Fury 2: Billy Kane, Axel Hawk, Lawrence Blood and Wolfgang Krauser (now playable).
Three characters returned from the first Fatal Fury: Duck King, Tung Fu Rue and Geese Howard (the last boss from Fatal Fury).
Other improvements:
New Count Down battle mode (dunk as much as possible in 3 minutes).
Additional color schemes for each player.
New and improved backgrounds.
Dolby Surround Sound.
On top of that, the Fatal Fury Special flaunts pseudo-3D movement between two planes.
