East End x Yuri / Eexy Life
East End the X Yuri was short-lived collaboration between the Japanese hip-hop group of East End and singer Yuri. East End members are Gaku MS, T-ROCK DJ and Yoggy, another DJ.
Gaku and Yoggy were friends in high school, often going into a rap contest when they could. Because they were interested in the same, they were familiar with rock tee. Later, at the entrance to the college, Gaku ran into Rock Tee. As a group, the first live performance was the East End event called ?Peace Ball? (1990), many acts that are still known today in Japan were present, including DJ Honda, DJ Krush, Boy-Ken, of DJ Yas and the other, East End is still strong, as a separate act, but with a small amount of focus.
Finally, in 1994, the band broke into the mainstream is strong with their pop-rap single da.yo.ne. (C guest artist Yuri, thus "x" means "from" name East End x Yuri). Sales were slow at first, but in early 1995, East End x Yuri single broke a million sold records, the first in the history of Japan's Hip Hop. Essentially, the main one-hit wonder, the band continued to release singles, trying to regain the spotlight, but they could not do it.
