Game U.N. Squadron (Super Nintendo - snes)
U.N. Squadron

A horizontal plane shooter ported from a slot machine with great music and good graphics. As the name implies, the player will fight in the UN Air Force. There are 3 pilots, each with their own abilities. 6 planes are available for flights. We start with the F8E (Crusader, a supersonic carrier-based fighter, the main carrier-based fighter of the American fleet of the 60s of the XX century) and, as we gain points, we change to more serious vehicles: F-20 (such vehicles were not in service), F-14D (TomCat, carrier-based fighter with long-range missiles, recently retired), A-10A (Warthog, this attack aircraft is now in US service), YF-23 (experimental vehicle, participated in the competition for the position of the US Air Force 6th generation, lost to the well-known F-22 Raptor, never mass-produced, was not in service) and the F-200 (the fantasy of the developers). As you complete levels and shoot enemies, the pilot earns money. In between levels, you can buy a new aircraft and weapons. The aircraft has one type of main weapon, the power of which can be increased, and a secondary weapon purchased in the store. The pilot has only one life, but there is an energy scale, if an enemy projectile hits the plane, then the energy drops to zero for some time. If at this time another shell hits the plane, you will have to start the level again. If secondary hits can be avoided, then the energy itself is restored after a while, but not entirely. It is worth noting that the collected money and weapon power are not reset. After several unsuccessful attempts, you can significantly strengthen your aircraft and pass the level.
