Continuation of the famous game for Atari 2600 - "Haunted House". It was first shown at the Classic Gaming Expo. Cartridge design by Earl Green.
The game immediately took its rightful place in the Atari 5200 library, being an adventure game. Haunted House II 3D is an extended version of the original VCS game. The essence remains the same. Improved graphics (pseudo 3D) and bigger mansions. Leading a pair of square eyes, you need to collect all the treasures and get out of the gloomy buildings as soon as possible. There are also hidden treasures that can be found by turning on the light. Naturally, spiders, bats, skeletons and ghosts are against such an invasion. Another difficulty is that while holding a sword you cannot collect treasures.
The game is not made at the highest level, it has its own flaws. I wonder if someone will be able to go through both mansions?
On December 31 of the same year, the game was re-released as Scary Mansion II 3D.
