After a long absence, the dragon Spyro finally returns to his native land, hoping to take a break from heroic deeds and long journeys. But it wasn’t there, as soon as Spyro appears in the dragon city of Dragon Realms, a mysterious incident occurs - the dragons immediately lost the ability to spew fiery flames. And all because some unknown and insidious villain kidnapped all the fireflies on earth - the source of the power of dragons. And even Spyro himself can no longer strike enemies with the fiery flame of just retribution. But our hero is full of determination and courage, he swore before the wisest and oldest dragons of the family that he would be able to find and destroy the dangerous kidnapper of defenseless fireflies. When Spiro returns home from his trip, he learns that the evil Rinoks have stolen all the fireflies and now there is no one to light his country at night. Spiro, along with his dragonfly companion Sparks, goes in search of fireflies. Enemies have become more cunning and diverse - but Spmro has also learned a lot - for example, now he can breathe not only fire, but also ice, which will come in handy more than once.
