Players control a character named Link as he fights monsters in 11 huge dungeons located in two diametrically opposed worlds. After the evil sorcerer Agahnim killed the good King Hyrule and captured Princess Zelda, it's up to Link to save the princess and restore peace and tranquility to Earth. The game features a unique multiplayer mode called Four Swords, where up to 4 players can each fight as a "clone" of Link wearing different colored outfits. At the same time, players must work as a single team, destroying numerous monsters, collecting money and items that have fallen from enemies. Moreover, these items can be transferred if necessary to other members of the squad, since cooperative actions are the key to solving numerous puzzles and help ensure victory in boss fights.
