In Cold Blood requires players to use more brains than brawn in resolving cases of international intrigue, puzzles, Clue collection and unwinding the tangled web of espionage, double-crosses and a sinister plot that could endanger the free world. Story unwinds in an unusual way: In the beginning of the game, your character, John Cord agent, was captured by the enemy, and in the midst of a grueling interrogation. Scenes from the game come from his memoirs, he passes this test, with players taking on his previous adventures that lead him to this point. This spy thriller in the spirit of James Bond, and as Cord recalls more general story starts to make more sense.
During Cold Blood, players will have to look for hidden objects and talk with a variety of characters, trying at every turn to solve puzzles that pop up on the way. But the tricky puzzles are not the only thing blocking their way - they also have to take control of Cord agent in the high-octane gun battles against enemy agents. Sometimes, the player can outwit the enemy, but they often do they have to fight him in a duel to the death
