Game Dead Dance (Super Nintendo - snes)
Dead Dance

A pretty decent fighting game from Jaleco, creator of the Rushing Beat trilogy for the SNES. The game has a number of features, so that everyone can have a good time playing it. In the distant future, there was a world war that destroyed half the planet. Responsible for this is a tyrant named Jade, known as the Fighting King due to his powerful armor. After the destruction of the world, he built a high tower, as the personification of his boundless strength and unsurpassed greatness. Meanwhile, a rebel army plans to overthrow him by infiltrating four highly trained warriors - the last of the worthy. They are the only hope for the salvation and liberation of the people from the chains of the tyrant. If you choose story mode, your character will develop as you progress through the game, and get more powerful types of your special attacks, some of which at the last level will have a visually quite impressive effect. First, we conduct training battles with our comrades, and then we perform in the tower and show our skills there, moving to the very top. On each tier, one of Jade's warriors is waiting for you. The game, like any standard fighting game, has weak hits, hard hits, kicks, and special moves. You won't be able to put them together in a huge combo, but they allow you to form a very decent combat strategy. The characters are well animated and their color palette is very well chosen. It is possible to watch even a video replay of the last moments of the fight after every second round. Graphics are good for Snes. The sound accompaniment raises no objections. In general, a very worthy representative of the fighting game genre on this system. There are differences between the Japanese and English versions. In Japan, this game is known as Dead Dance, where the characters show damage and facial abrasions during combat. There are also battered portraits of fighters and additional dialogues, and, well, the ending on Normal difficulty. It is recommended to play all the same in the Japanese version. A good toy for all fans of the genre who are not alien to cyberpunk trends.
