MobileWonderGate was announced by Bandai on June 23, 2000 and released on July 14, 2000. On October 31, 2001, Bandai announced that the online service for WonderGate-related games would be discontinued. The rest of the online gaming services ended on March 31, 2003, although the email and browser software continued to function.
