Game Drop Zone (Game Gear - gg)
Drop Zone

A game known since the time of the primitive Atari. The four moons of Jupiter, Io, Callisto, Ganymede and Europa have already been invaded. You have to eliminate this threat and save the galaxy. By doing this, you will receive a long-awaited return to Mother Earth as a reward.

As you may have guessed, the game is made in the best traditions of Defender.

The drop zone is not a new word in game development. The history of this game began back in 1980, when Midway released a primitive flying-shooter Defender, but this game, and its subsequent reincarnations of Drop Zone and Super Dropzone, won the hearts of millions of gamers around the world!

The plot of the game is also not particularly new. You will have to fight hordes of aliens alone.

The plot is as follows: In the near future, the reserves of minerals and minerals on Earth have been depleted, and the eyes of mining companies have turned to the moons of Jupiter. However, shortly after the construction of the first bases on Io, Callisto, Ganymede and Europa, a previously unknown intelligent race was discovered living on Jupiter. Rather, they discovered earthlings, and the extraction of minerals clearly did not suit them. Enemy waves poured in to defend the minerals and shoot the colonists. Who better than you to protect your countrymen?

In addition to shooting annoying enemies, you are advised to tow 10 containers to the base. There are 4 moons in total, 5 levels on each. If you pass them, you will go to Jupiter.

Graphics: There is nothing to brag about, you know, the genre is not the same, but, compared to the original, it looks pretty.

Sound: Shots don't boast polyphonic sound :) Standard normal sound.

Difficulty: This is probably one of the most difficult games I've ever seen. The protagonist is enlarged to look better, while enemies and ammo are kept small. As a result, it is easy to hit you, but not enemies. And speed is the real test of your reaction!

In general: If complexity does not scare you and shooters are not alien to you, feel free to save the world.
