Starring a lynx named Bubsy. He travels through the chain of children's fairy tales: in "Alice in Wonderland" he must defeat the crazy Hatter, in the fairy tale "Jack and the Beanstalk" - a giant, in "Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves" - a genie, in "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" - a sea monster, in the caramel country - Hansel and Gretel. After that, he frees Mother Goose, as a result of which all the fairy tales return to normal.
The game is a classic platformer. Babsy kills enemies by jumping on them and collects various items. After collecting all the jewels, Babsy enters the bonus level (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs).
At the end of each level, the player is given a code to move on to the next one.
The game received mixed reviews from critics. Reviewer Electronic Gaming Monthly gave the game a good score, pointing out the quality graphics and sound, noting poor controls among the shortcomings. A reviewer for GamePro called the gameplay boring and repetitive.
