The gameplay has signs of buffoonery: the player is tempted to use "dirty" play techniques, and special abilities include the ability to fake a foul in order to be able to take a free kick or penalty kick. There are two modes of gameplay: tournament and demonstration performances. When playing in a tournament, after the successful completion of each match, the player is given a password that allows him to continue the game. . .

In single player mode, the player controls one of eight deceased characters who must fight in a tournament to escape hell and gain a second life. Fight for Life is a 3D polygonal fighting game. The gameplay mechanics are very similar to those used in Virtua Fighter, with two notable exceptions. First, the player starts the game with no special attacks, but has the ability to "steal" two special attacks from defeated opponents. In this way, the player can create a unique fighter.

The game takes place in 2142. The protagonist is Conrad B. Hart, an employee of the Galactic Bureau of Investigation, who accidentally uncovers a conspiracy of aliens masquerading as humans. He is kidnapped and his memory is erased, but then Hart manages to escape. The protagonist's adventures begin in the wild jungles of Titan, where he comes to his senses after a glider crash.

The game takes place on the planet Phrohmaj and includes 9 levels representing different locations of this planet inhabited by strange looking aliens. The essence of the game is to place the colored tiles in the correct places on the board by lifting the tiles into the air. There is always one more tile in the game than there are cells on the board, so at least one tile must be in a tossed state at all times. As you progress through the levels, the game becomes more and more difficult, as you have to keep more tiles in the air and deal with aliens interfering with the game. Game Zero's reviewers noted the game's interesting concept, but noted that it is too easy: only the 3D levels that appear towards the end of the game are difficult enough.
