Game BattleSphere Gold (Atari Jaguar - jag)
BattleSphere Gold

In 2002, the second edition of BattleSphere was released. It was released under the name BattleSphere Gold, containing fixes and improvements.

BattleSphere Gold also takes place in the future (2800s). The seven major races of the galaxy are at war. Borrowing an idea from a Star Trek episode, they decided to confine military operations to Sector 51, a spherical sector of space previously used by the Earth government for secret weapons and spacecraft testing. Each race sent a contingent of its troops to this sector to take part in the tournament of space battles. The winner of the tournament will take control of the galaxy.

There are 7 races in BattleSphere Gold: Oppressors, Smg'Heeds (descendants of modern humans), O'catanut, Slith, Se bab, Telchines and Thunderbirds.

The BattleSphere Gold game allows you to network up to 16 consoles, each can be played by 2 people: a pilot and a gunner (up to 32 players in total).
