Goemon, better known as the Mystic Ninja, and his friends (and enemies) are now participating in a game more like a monopoly. Heroes move around the map according to what the die rolls.
Goemon: Mononoke Sugoroku is a Nintendo 64 video game released in 1999. The game is based on the Ganbare Goemon series, and despite the series' relative popularity in the west, it was only released in Japan.
It is based on the Japanese board game sugoroku populated by many Konami Ganbare Goemon characters. Up to four players control two dice and take turns controlling either Goemon, Ebisumaru, Sasuke, or the Year over pre-rendered boards that resemble previous locations in the series.
The game features a new Yae outfit that will be used in subsequent titles.
