The game is played with two buttons: the A button launches bullets from the plane and the B button launches a special bomb attack that uses a bomb from a limited supply of bombs. Power Bullets can be obtained by destroying buildings and armored enemy aircraft. There are 2 types of Power Bullets: "P" Power bullets, which increase the aircraft's firepower by one level, and "F" Power bullets, which instantly increase the aircraft's firepower to the maximum level. The maximum level only lasts for a limited number of shots. When certain ground enemies and buildings are destroyed, cash bonuses appear that give a random number of points to each. When the player reaches the end of the stage, the player must meet up with the boss ship.
