Metal Slug 5 is a completely new game and not a hodgepodge build, which was the last episode of the series. Everything has been redrawn: enemies, vehicles, backgrounds for all five levels of the game, new excellent musical accompaniment. The new technique is represented by an advanced version of the Metal Slug tank, which, in addition to caterpillars, has acquired a pair of legs and arms, as well as the ability to turn around its own axis (a real gem of this series), a huge mechanical spider with a machine gun and a harpoon that you can control in the subway, and a small car -a bug on the highway. You will also have modified versions of hand weapons at your disposal: a large laser, a huge rocket launcher and a powerful shotgun. Another notable innovation is the ability for the hero to slide across the floor, which will help you get out of the most difficult situations during the battle (press down, then B).
