The sequel to the second part of the series, developing the same storyline of the game. Unlike the second part of the game, it was made on a new optimized engine, which allowed it to avoid the fate of Metal Slug 2, which often slows down in active scenes with a large number of sprites on the screen. Nevertheless, this is an independent new part of the series, introducing some new finds from the developers. In particular, the changes affected the level design, the soundtrack, a set of weapons, which, in addition to the novelties of the second part, included homing missiles, a grenade launcher and Iron Lizard (rockets on wheels), and much more that you just need to see. Metal Slug X is an excellent remake of the previous part, recommended even to those who played Metal Slug 2. The game is full of various changes and improvements that turn an already excellent game into a masterpiece.
