The Jeep is armed with a rocket launcher that fires straight ahead; The player can have two missiles on the screen at the same time. Driving is similar to Combat for Atari 2600.
Tanks periodically appear from different places on the edge of the screen and move towards the player. Tanks always move in horizontal or vertical lines, unlike a free-moving jeep. Tank turrets move to track the player, allowing them to fire in any direction. Tanks usually take two hits to be destroyed, and the player can only have two missiles on screen at a time. The helicopter appears from anywhere and approaches the player in looping tracks that fly over the jeep and fire periodically. When hit, the helicopter spins.
The player can be killed either by shooting from helicopter tanks or by colliding with tanks. In two player mode, players cannot kill each other. The gameplay is periodically sped up to increase the difficulty.
