Abarenbou Tengu is a slightly unusual horizontal flying shooter. You act as a giant head, bringing horror and destruction. You need to bomb and set fire to houses, eat people who fell out of the window, and also dodge air defense beams, tanks and helicopters. For eating people, energy accumulates and after reaching a certain level, the head becomes invulnerable for a while.
Although the graphics in Abarenbou Tengu are not the most outstanding, but, nevertheless, the game turned out to be quite good due to the excellent drive. It is quite possible to advise fans of the genre of scrolling shooters and games, one way or another connected with zombies!
In the courtyard of 1999, a seemingly harmless meteorite fell in the Nevada desert. However, in reality, this meteorite turned out to be Darc Seed - a powerful alien creature. With its rays it turned America into a land of zombies and revived, subjugating the Statue of Liberty, so that now the great symbol of the American people began to engage in evil deeds everywhere. Among other things, the alien creature took possession of all the weapons of the Earth, except for the great samurai sword Shura. When the supreme samurai (shogun) found out about the disasters in America, he immediately took up his sword and went to save a foreign country for him. For only he possessed the power and knowledge capable of subduing the sword and directing its energy of good against the conqueror.
A long backstory promises the uniqueness of the game. In the game, we control an unusual flying object - the head of a zombie. Unlike the American version, here we see not the head of the samurai Namakubi (Namakubi), but the head of the mythical creature of Japan - Tengu (he is traditionally depicted with a long nose). It attacks with shots from the eyeball and vomit from the mouth. Enemies do not sleep and will constantly pester us - here you have zombie snipers (settled on the roofs of skyscrapers), and helicopters, and some completely incomprehensible devices. But in all this turmoil, the main thing to remember is that we are also saving good zombies! In the game we are waiting for 4 stages and, accordingly, 4 bosses. If you pass all these tests, you will be able to challenge Dark Seed in the final battle.
