Another game based on the works of Tracey Hickman and Margaret Weiss of the Dragon Lance series. This time it's an Advanced Dungeons & Dragons - Heroes of the Lance side-scrolling RPG. The game Advanced Dungeons & Dragons - Heroes of the Lance for the Dendy console is an offshoot of the main concept of the series. Eight Dragonlance heroes participate in the walkthrough, but only one is on screen. After his death, the next one appears.
Each character has different types of attacks and spells that make them more suitable for dealing with different enemies. However, they only work when the player lives and the character is on screen. This split-ability tactic is common to most games in this genre.
