The game - Castlevania II - Simon's Quest - Dendy | NES

The second, and most successful, in my opinion, part of the series about a guy with a whip. Unlike the previous and almost all subsequent parts, this game is not a pure stupid walker. There are elements of a quest and a role-playing game. You'll have to upgrade your stats, use various items, and fight monsters for points. Day turns to night, and the monsters become stronger at night, and people hide in the cities at home.
