Alien 3 is a rather entertaining game based on the third part of The Aliens trilogy. In the role of Ripley, you have to kill people infected with Alien larvae in order to prevent them from multiplying. You are given a certain amount of time for this. Having found all the infected, you must leave the level through the tunnel. And all this under atmospheric, bewitching music.
Before us is a game based on the cult Alien series, or in our opinion - Alien. These are the same alien creatures, parasites that infect the bodies of living organisms, laying eggs in them. Remember the moments from the movie when the little Aliens burst out of the victim's stomach, ripping open the insides and killing the owner who bore them?
The plot in the game Alien 3, as such, is missing. The main character - the inimitable Ripley - needs to free all the prisoners of the Aliens and get to the exit, while keeping within the allotted time for the mission. To exterminate intergalactic parasites, there are several types of weapons, and cartridges for them (as well as first-aid kits) are scattered throughout the level. If you do not meet the deadline, then all the prisoners of the Aliens on the level die, while a video is shown where larvae break out of the bodies of unrescued people, and their bodies fall soullessly ... By the way, this sometimes makes sense: to intentionally die so that you can clearly see demonstrated where the hostages were let through. On your next try, you will definitely release everyone!
Alien 3 looks a lot more shabby now than it did in the 1990s when played on a real console. This is because now we can more objectively compare it with all representatives of the NES platformer genre. And this battle, for the most part, is won by other projects with better graphics and sound capabilities, as well as more advanced gameplay. Therefore, even 60 points out of 100 are more a compliment to the game than an underestimation.
