The game Altered Beast is a simple adventure game, but, nevertheless, with quite beautiful level bosses. Side view, an uncle in red runs along a completely even level and only knows that he is fighting off various evil spirits. Gray balls fall out of the white two-headed wolves, grabbing which the little man begins to turn into a wolf. Having collected three balls, the person turns into a werewolf. The type of werewolf and its abilities depend on the current level and can be either a waterfowl or a flying form. You can find out who the hero will turn into on the panel of lives.
Altered Beast is a 1988 beat 'em up arcade game. Later it was ported to many other platforms including the NES. On most platforms, the versions of the game differed, so in the NES version you can see mutated animals, a humanoid lion or an unusually shaped shark.
The game takes place in Ancient Greece. The player controls a centurion, a fighter against evil spirits and monsters. The game has five levels: a cemetery, another world (Underworld), a cave, Neff Palace and a castle in the city of Dis.
