Akumajou Special - Boku Dracula-kun

Game Akumajou Special - Boku Dracula-kun - the adventures of a little vampire. He considers himself already an adult and therefore behaves like a real vampire. Side view, a rather large vampire runs and shoots fireballs. As always, Konami loves to parody their own toys and this game is sort of a parody of Castlevania.

Akumajou Special - Boku Dracula-kun is a platform game, a parody of the Castlevania games, developed and released by the famous company Konami on October 19, 1990 exclusively for the NES game console. The game was not released outside of Japan, but in 1993, Kid Dracula (also Akumajou Special: Boku Dracula-Kun in the Japanese version) was released for the Game Boy portable game system in 1993, with an identical protagonist and similar gameplay, which is a continuation of this game in the story. .

There is no plot in the game as such. The protagonist - the young son of Dracula, is awakened from sleep by the evil demon Garamoth, who devastated Dracula's castle. And now the young Dracula must find the villain and take revenge on him.

The game is a parody of the Castlevania games also released by Konami, a kind of children's version of the famous horror game. In game terms, Boku Dracula-kun is a typical 2D side-scrolling platform game. The protagonist of the game - Alucard (Alucard, Dracula, written in reverse order), the son of Count Dracula, travels through the platform levels of the game and deals with numerous opponents: zombies, Frankenstein's monsters, bats, witches and ghosts. The levels of the game and opponents are designed in a comical parody style.

In total, the game consists of nine levels: Dracula's castle, clouds, the Arctic, New York, desert, space, etc. At the end of each of them, the player will meet with the main enemy of the level - the boss. To counter enemies, Alucard is able to shoot energy blasts at them. In addition, after completing the first five stages, the young vampire gains a new special skill, this can be a special type of weapon, such as homing energy charges, the ability to turn into a bat or freeze his opponents.

Enemies killed with special weapons leave behind coins, which, after completing each level, can be used to play mini-games, for the successful completion of which the player receives additional lives.
