We play as a magician named Dan with the goal of finding the Key of Solomon in order to drive the demons out of the magical world, as someone accidentally let them in.
The game consists of 64 levels, of which about 15 are hidden. At each level for a certain time you need to find the key to the exit. Our magician can run, jump, create blocks with his magic wand and destroy them. He can also create fireballs to destroy demons. The game can be classified as complex (there is no save function, therefore, if you lose, for example, at level 49, you will have to start from the very first), but what an interesting game it is! I recommend.
In addition to the original Solomon's Key slot machine, it was released on several systems: Amstrad CPC, Atari ST, Commodore 64, DOS, NES, Famicom Disk System, Sega Master System, ZX Spectrum (an unofficial Russian port made in 2003) and mobile phones. Also in 2006, the game appeared on the Wii Virtual Channel service.
The game Solomon no Kagi has a prequel, which just tells the formation of the magician Dan himself - Solomon's Key 2 (exclusive to NES).
A popular game at the time.
