Monster Hunter Freedom is about adventurers who roam the world fighting a variety of monsters. The game begins with customizing the appearance of your monster hunter: choosing a hairstyle, face type, voice and other attributes. You can explore the surroundings and take on different tasks, such as finding a lost jewel in the dragon's cave or hunting down a creepy monster of unknown origin. Hunters can use the meat of defeated monsters for food, bones for weapons and armor, claws and teeth for jewelry. After completing a task, the player receives bonus points that can be used to improve the characteristics of weapons or equipment.
